Best Pleco For 40 Gallon Breeder?

I set up my 40 breeder today and need an idea for a Pleco to be with a pair of fire mouths, what do you think I should get?

Woud like one that will get some what large NOT to large
Maybe a Catfish? Not Sure if this would work.
No common Plecos
No BN Plecos

Im looking for something cool/unique

Green Phantom Pleco?
Mega Clown Pleco?

i am going with a green phantom in mine. There are a lot of them that could work. Its another question to find all of them. Some I had no luck findinf for sale.

L046 is cool but expensive. Also look at the Blue Phantom Pleco L128 as well.

If I was choosing I'd probably go with a breeding pair of starlight ancistrus or leopard frog peckoltia

Or King Tiger or Yellow King tiger Plecs. There are quite a few that work. L288 is one of my favorites. Looks better in real life.

something about the name 'mega clown pleco' makes me think a 40b isn't going to be big enough... but that's the first time I've ever heard of one too.

Search by size, anything that stays under 6" and doesn't have needs that your tank won't meet should work. Lots of really cool plecos.
