So I am planning on my order of fish for the tank. One thing I am unsure of is the fish I want at the lower portion of the tank. Initially I thought a pair of dwarf cockatoo cichlids would be my choice, as I love the color on their fins. They also sound like a pretty docile fish and good community members.

Then I ran across information about the celestial pearl danio. Absolutely stunning fish, but pretty small. I considered the possibility of 5 of them in place of the cockatoo cichlids. Any thoughts?
Mid level fish would be a school of 10 rummy nose tetra and the upper level fish would be a pair of electric blue gourami.
Any insights on the celestial pearl Danio in this kind of tank?
