External filter advice

So I'm looking to upgrade my current juwel internal filter in my rio 180 tank.
I would like a filter that would be more efficient and realy quiet as my tanks in my bedroom and my current filter makes a racket durin the night.
Does anyone have any recommendations to suit and has there tank in their room?

I have mine in my room, a 44gal pentagon and I use a Fluval 306 canister and its really quiet.

Ok thanks, can you hear it on a night or is it not noticeable? I just dont want to get one and it stil anoy me

I can't hear nor do I notice it, but I don't have to the room perfectly silent for me to sleep lol.
