so, I hadn't really planned on getting more fish. But I went to pick up a great deal on a 5 gallon setup for my betta, Laurent.
Here is Laurent's current home:
I figured he could use something a bit bigger than a gallon!
Got to the house that is selling the 5 gallon setup, and there were FISH in the tank still! Well, I hadn't expected that. When I said I wasn't really looking for more fish, the lady said she could flush them. *sighs* So I took them home with me. There were three fish: male blue betta, tiger pleco, and a lonely neon tetra. The tetra did not last through the first night. he was looking pretty sad when I picked them up, and the trip was just too much for him. Poor little fellah. The betta and the pleco are doing fine. The pleco will have to be relocated to a tank more appropriate to his size, but for now he is OK. He is VERY young still.
