Snail Problem

I guess this forum is dedicated to keeping snails alive, how do you get rid of them? I had plants and there were snails. I was delighted for free kritters until I figured out they reproduce like..... Well so then my plants died, and now a year later I'm sick of these little pests. They are just impacting the bio load and clogging my filter with their dead shells. No bigger than 1 mm. Help! Also I have six tetras I'd like to keep alive.

Order some assassin snails. No chemicals needed and no need to tear down your tank.

But then won't I have to deal with those?

They breed very slowly. Then when your pest snails are extinguished, they go about feeding off scraps and algae wafers.
