I am thinking of getting either 2 Honey or 2 Dwarf Gourami for my 20 gallon high. They would be in a community tank with 5x Platies, 5x Zebra Danios, and 3x Corydora Catfish. Which Gourami would be better for my tank?

Im not sure there is any significant factor to suggest one over the other. Personal preference.

Honey gourami might be a bit more peaceful, dwarf gourami is a prettier fish IMO.

Which do you prefer? Thats the one you should go for.

2 dwarfs will fight and they are also susceptible to bloating and turning into a pinecone. But they are much prettier.

Honey are a good choice as long as you have dark gravel. They'll have decent colors. I would not recommend honey with light gravel.

Be careful deciding on the fish you get when you go to the store. Pick one with all fins intact, feelers. Any gourami not easily caught is better. Slow and damaged fins are most likely sick.
