How to add argonite

I am trying to set up my very first tank... I have a 75 gallon tank and am trying to start an African Cichlids tank. I hAve heard Argonite sand is one of the best things for the bottom of the tank... I have rinsed it and put it on the bottom, then i put a bag over the sand, bUT when I start to add water it still gets real cloudy... will the cloudiness disappear after a while and I need to be patient or what should I do? Right now I only have the tank a fourth full because I don't know what to do..... PLEASE HELP!

The cloudiness will settle out. Usually within a day. Put a sponge over your intake if there is any danger of sand getting sucked into the filter.

So fill it up and let it settle.

I was worried when I was filling my 55g


But it was fine.
