i need help

I just bought a tank that was set in a basement. Need to clean it out. I need to know if I just use water. It just has dust in it. Need a little help, I don't what to hurt any fish.

You can use vinegar then warm water to rinse it out. Make sure there is no vinegar left. Or you can use one part plain bleach 9 parts water to clean it then rinse with 3x dosed prime water or let it dry completely for a few days. Vinegar helps with hard water stains and bleach will help kill any nasties.
