Stocking ideas for 55 gallon

Hello, just getting ready to start cycling my tank. Was gonna get some ideas for fish. I'm thinking 2 angels and some corys would like a school of cardinals as well. Any other ideas are welcomed.

It seems you're going for an Amazon theme? If so, I'd recommend another school of tetras, like rummies, bentosis, black neons, pristellas, von rios, etc. or a top-dwelling fish like hatchetfish or pencilfish. You could also try a pleco, IMO snowflake and zebra plecos are very nice additions, or possibly a trio of otos. Then you could probably add another cichlid pair in there, maybe any dwarf cichlids. Not all these fish though

Depends on the cichlid it is.

In your setup I'd recommend peaceful SA cichlids, dwarves, angels, keyholes, etc.
