Mouth fungus?

Ok i think my balloon molly might have mouth fungas. Her fins seem to be designating and her mouth seems like something is eating it. She is a pretty new fish got her from pets smart. She is rather big compared to my other balloon mollies but i though it was just because she is female. I don't have another tank to put her in and treat her and the tank she is in now has crayfish and plants so most medicines cant be used. Does this sound like mouth fungus? If so what should i use to treat her that is safe for plants and crayfish? I know how to properly humanly euthanize her if that would be best. What do you think?

I would look up columnaris pics, and see if it looks similar. If it does, you will need to get meds ASAP.

Couldn't find pics that look like what she has. I tried to get some pics with my iphone since i cant find my camera not sure if you can see that the top of her mouth is white and looks like pieces are coming off instead of being orange like her.

Hmm, I can't tell from the pics. It is cottony?

Here's a good site which explains:

Thanks for helping. The fish doesn't look like the pics. Her mouth seems all white and seems to be like peeling i guess starting at the front and peels like a thin string to the side. You will see like thin strings or her skin coming from her mouth.

Well, her tail fin looks a little messed up too. I would get some Melafix and Pimafix, and start dosing the tank ASAP.

No, they are all natural and safe for inverts and scaleless fish. I know from experience too, since I have used them for new fish.

+1 for DK.

Mouth fungus is definately cottony. She probably has another type of fungal from nasty LFS water.

Keep your own tank extra, exta clean and the Melafix won't hurt at all.
