Beginner carpet plant

I'm a beginner into planted aquariums. What would be a good beginner carpet plant without needing co2?

Also what's a good fertilizer or supplement to use to promote health and growth?

Look into Marsilea sp. PPS-Pro fertilizers from Green Leaf Aquarium would be a good fertilizer regimen, and the best bang for your buck.
