so when i got my fish tank i dropped it and luckelly it only got a small crack in the corner and it is not very good to look at exspeccially with some other glass and silicon covering it so with the left over parts of my eggcrate i put them on the two ends of the fish tank what would be a good plant to have grow in it that would sort of be like a vine i guess?

You might try a small bunch of anachris, I had some that I got at Walmart and it THRIVED in my 10gal tank with some snails and tiger barbs, you could also cover it up with a rock or something like that. I was once told that anachris also absorbs the nutrients that algae needs so it will help keep algae down, I haven't been able to verify the statement but I know that tank NEVER had an algae problem and I literally NEVER cleaned it.

+1 on the moss. Java, Xmas, Riccia.... a lot of options.
