Hello I have never posted before but i often read forum for advice. I have a 7-8 in Green terror cichlid who has been sick for about ten days. Normally he lives in a 75 gallon tank with 4 other cichlids and an algae eater. Main tank has ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 20, PH 6.8 to 7. I use an Aquaclear 500 and 70 together. The tank has been set up for almost a year. I do 30 to 40% water changes weekly. All the other fish are happy as clams. Last week GT stopped eating and had white poop. So I moved him to a 10 gal hospital tank with an aquaclear 20 and heater. I have treated him with salt and AP general cure everyother day with a 50% water change as well. I put bio media from original filter in hospital tank filter. After treating him for a week he finally as no white poop as of yesterday but still refuses to eat. I tried giving him some peas but nothing. My question is should I keep treating him or am I doing more harm than good at this point? I am debating just keeping him in the hospital with no medication until he eats? If he eats?
