i just got one of these today...i have other fish in the tank...are they at risk...i have niger trigger, yellow tang, tomatoe clown all of good size..the eel is fairly tiny.....will he try to eat them...any info on this will be good :D

i just set a 55 gallon reef tank up...i looked at it today and noticed a major bow in the front and back...is this normal at all...like the glass is under alot of pressure...the tank is long and narrow..has this happened to anybody else? im afraid its gonna give and breaK...what to do?

i needed to remove my anemone from a certain area for service on my protein skimmer...i found that you can use a thin gauge guitar pick and slide it underneath him and it didnt do any damage...just do it a little at a time..not all in one swoop...ease it underneath him then then back up a bit...

dont know what it is...i thought it was a mantis shrimp...but it has a very long body....kinda slender with kinda brown and white stripes...i saw about 2 inches of it...but there was more left in this hole he was in..this is the best pick i got for now...i was waiting for him to show his body...

is this a feather duster or a tubworm of some sort? i found it when i was moving some of my rock into my new tank. it was kinda packed in with sediment and then it came loose..it twisted around a bit then stretched out some and the skinny end of it started to dig in the substrate trying to hide...

hi...this is edgar..hes very strange and getting stranger...he like to swim upside down and stay thay way for short periods of time...he also likes the air stone strip in the back...its like he sticks his mouth right on it and then swims away then he shimmys around and tries to stir up the rocks...

i was reading in a diy post about sealing tanks...they guy said i think that you can use 100% silicone bought at the fish store a home depot..i went to home depot and got 100% silicone...it dries clear and what not..i sealed up my tank...but then i read that its not for aquariums will i be ok...

I built my own refugium based on the cpr...I built this thing and really dont know how it works..I know what it does..but... Ok. I have this pump with a tube attached to it thats feeding into the refugium. then the first section has a short wall..some space(for sand and macro or what-not) and...

im setting up a 55 gal. reef tank.im gonna eventually buy aqualite 48" retrofit...i built the tank stand and canopy myself...so it has to be custom fit i guess....anyways my question is ..can i use 48" 4x40 watts gro-lux floresent bulbs to get my tank to cycle?or until i can afford the retrofit...

ive been using coralife make it yourself for over a year...seems to do good.. but i have to adjust the ammonia levels after water change... do you have this problem(with ammonia levels and other things) with say instant ocean..never used the stuff so i am just curious(dont know what kind KENT is) :D
