10g betta tank mates

I'm looking for some mates for my betta in a 10g planted tank. I'd prefer to stay away from other fish but I'm still open to the idea of it. He is a blue crown tail with a touch of red where his tail fin meets his body.(no pic he's sleeping)

You could always get a mystery snail or some shrimp. Although the beta may eat the shrimp
