Water isnt ready yet. :(

I got my snails in though, from reefcleaners.org

Soon as they got into the tank they started moving around!

Actually haven't checked in awhile. I have snails in there now and they are all active and munching away on the algae. Just got a turbo snail to attack the green hair algae.

Looks like you got a nice little algae bloom. Try doing a 20% water change weekly till your cycle is over. You could disturb the sand bed surface a bit to get the algae floating as well. How many hermits/snails do you have?

Yeah i have been doing weekly water changes at about 2-3 gal each.

Snails - reefcleaners.org 10gal quick crew. and a turbo snail thats mowing thru all of the hair algae.

I wouldnt worry much as those are diatoms and seem to disappear just as fast as they show up, the turbo snails should take care of your hair algae problem as well.

Thank looking good though.

Since everyone loooooves pictures. Here are a bunch :D

fuge light mod... since too much light still blasts into the tank Might get a single bit of sheet metal and bend a U and fasten it to the fuge.

Looking good there buddy. I would suggest adding more sand to the fuge. Also you are going to want to spritz the Mangroves with Fresh water (the leaves only) they can extract H2O from the SW but spritzing the leaves with FW will help it along a great deal.

Updates... heres some macro-ish shots.

Those are some nice zoas! And man are those nuclear greens bright!

Also, I know that birdsnest are SPS, so I wonder how it'll do under just 2 T5's (that's not saying you can't, I'm just uninformed when it comes to SPS) so definitely keep this updated!

Lights I have are pretty bright, at the moment its at the bottom of the tank, but i might move it up closer tonight, not really diggin' where i have it at the moment.
