Could I do 2 bn plecos in my current 65 gal? Or do they only like 1 in a tank?

They're very mellow on the whole. I've 3 in my 63 gallon & they all get on fine. They can be a little territorial, but things are soon sorted in the swish of a tail!

I have one male & two females, but I believe that whatever combination of M & F should be ok.

Wonderful fish. Post pics if you have them :)

Thanks! I figured they were mellow, but I almost always see a lone pleco in tanks, so wanted to be sure. I'll have to special order a pair for the LFS, since the 5 or 6 in my area do not carry them in stock.

What kind of BN do you want? I have regular BN (no longfins) in too many tanks, and they just keep breeding. I have brown breeding pairs that produce some albino and calico fry, and brown, albino, calico, and super red juvies available.

A couple of pics of my Albino.

My other 2 were rather camera shy!
