Would the second floor be able to safely hold a 20 gallon gallon with 10 gallon sump. I'm super paranoid so I figured I'd ask.

a 10 gallon sump isn't going to weigh all that much. Assuming you have 10 gallons of water in it, which you wouldn't in a sump, you're at 85 pounds of water.

What do you mean by "the second floor"?

We can't tell you as we don't know the structural integrity or support on that spot of the building.

True lol didn't think of that

You won't have any problems, if your second floor can't hold ~250 lbs you've got bigger problems ;)
