20gallon FW to SW tank

I have a 75 gallon saltwater tank but I also have a 20 gallon freshwater tank that I want to change to a saltwater tank. What is the proper way to clean out the tank and filter to get ready for the reef tank? Don't want to clean it with something that I shouldn't use.

I would say just clean it with some warm tap water and the same for the filter don't use any house hold cleaners

Thanks for the info. Thought about using some vinegar and water. Glad all I have to do is rinse it out.
