220g tank canister filter question.

I havent gotten the tank going yet but, I bought 3 fluval 406 canisters. Is this enough or do I need 4? Thanks

I run a Fluval FX5 and a Fluval 406 cansiter on my 220g along with 2 nano powerheads to add water circulation to the couple dead spots in the tank. I'm not sure 3 406's is enough, I know you will need more water circulation.

I really dont want a powerhead, maybe another 406?

First I'd see how the three work and then add a 4th if needed.

I agree, run what you have and see how it goes. I just run XP3 and XP4 on my 125.
