So far so good. No bleaching. The tips got damaged in shipment slightly, but don't seem any worse.

Yeah I made this switch from bio pellets about 4 months ago. Working out much better.

Notice the parasite my hippo tang has shown up with. Right on his forehead. Thought it was just an injury, but there is a tiny hole in the center of the bump. Worm? It doesn't bother him at all.

That's right, or common name is a Blacktail. He's about 8 years old.

Is he ok with your corals? I had one till I got my first monti then it ate my monti frag in half an hour

He's iffy. In a large tank full of polyps, he hasn't done any visible damage. But he is a picker and I wouldn't recommend him for anything but a large coral overgrown tank.

Thanks, maybe I'll hold off on that one, though I did pick up my very first tang today, a juvenile truncates if I'm not mistaken. it will be interesting to see how I do with this fish
