40 gallon acrylic tank for $125... good deal?

I found a guy who is selling a 40 gallon acrylic tank locally for $125. I would like to make a sump out of it and was actually thinking of making an acrylic sump myself until i found this. Approximately how much do you guys think plastic for a tank this size would cost? Just trying to decide if doing it myself would be that much of a money saver. Thanks!

what are the dimensions? I was just in lowes yesterday and a 2X4 sheet of I think 1/4" was $26 and some change. For what you are going to use it for why not just buy a large rubbermaid tote?

I plan to use a tote for my sump as well. Good idea.
