My tank is completely empty right now as I just finished cycling so I want to get some opinions on how I should stock it.
I have done a fair amount of research and I really like the blue acara and pictus catfish. I am thinking 1 BA and 3 pictus.
But I want to have more than just 4 fish. I was thinking 10 serpae or silver tip tetras, but I keep second guessing myself. I don't want them to end up as snacks for the larger fish.
Could I do either of those tetras or should I go with something else? I want the fish to all be South American.
Any thoughts?
(Aqadvisor says both of those tetras are compatible)
