Aquarium Advice Addict
I have decided to add another tank to the ever shrinking fish room/office! This will be the last tank that I add for quite some time (mainly out of fear of bodily harm from the wife ) so I have decided that I better build it to house something that I have really wanted for a long time....Puffers!
As far as I know the only true FW puffers are dwarfs and hairy. Anyone know of any others I am missing?
This will be a heavily planted tank with high light, CO2, ferts, etc. I'm thinking the scape will be pretty jungley. The back of the tank will be blacked out, I will be using black sand for the substrate with a layer of Laterite on the bottom for the plants.
Here is the equipment list so far:
As for the stocking list for the plants and animals they are still to be determined. I am wanting to look at different views and suggestions though!
Here is the tank in the back of the room where it will live. As you can see, this is the last tank I can really fit in this room.

Here is the equipment list so far:
- Fluval 406
- Milwaukee Reg and PH controller
- DIY Rex Grigg reactor
- Hydor Inline Heater
- Koralia 750 powerhead (might change this if there is too much flow)
- I am still very undecided on the lighting for this tank
