Adding another fish to a small tank?

So I recently got two blind cave fish and have them in a 1.5 gallon tank with a filter and heater and sand, but i would like to get one more blind cave tetra to join them, would three be to much in a tank that size? they are rather small...

IMO that tank is too small for the 2. They may be small now, but they grow. JMO.

Now get a larger tank! lol i would have to say +1 on 1.5 gal being too small, i wouldn't add anything else.

Welcome! If you stepped up to a 10g, you could get that third cave fish.

Welcome, agreed with everyone on the larger tank. IMO a 1.5 gall is too small for a betta let alone 3 fish. Step up to a 10 gal and you'll be much happier

Welcome, shouldn't be long before MTS hits anyways lol. Yeah I don't think 1.5 gallons would even be good for quarantine. 10 gallons is super small as it is, let alone 1.5! Good luck with your fishies
