Adding/Buying New Fish. Which One(s).

Well, someone was watching my fish for me while I was away and one of my two male guppies in my 3.5 gallon nano died. Now the other male is really lonely and I think if he doesn't have a friend he will die soon of loneliness. The male is now living in proper water conditions, but still looks like he might die from lack of his tankmate (they were inseparable). I was wondering if there is more of an option for fish to put in such a tank that will go well with my male and keep him company, I am not going to upgrade this tank yet so that is not an option right now, any advice is helpful. Thanks.

why not just more guppies? Try mollies too, I think they are compatible and the dalmation ones are cool to look at HTH

But would a mollie and a guppy be suitable for a 3.5 nano, cause I know that sometimes mollies can be quite aggressive.

A molly would not be suitable for a 3.5 gallon tank. A single guppy would work.

If I only have the one male guppy I am sure that he will die of loneliness in a couple days for weeks.
