advice on a cichlid set up please

I was wondering, as they go and any plants I put in, is there any that they would not eat? if so is there anything I can use to "carpet" the tank? Thanks

If your talking about mbuna chances are they will eat most anything lol.These days you can get some really good plastic plants which wouldn't be eaten.They will however be unearthed from time to time.Mbuna are very boisterous.
