Hello i keep having my substrate turn green with algea. Also there's some kind of hair algea growing between it (it looks like grass but in algea form)
I've tried lowering my light and also stopped adding co2 but the substrate keeps turning green.

At this point i've also removed all plants out of my tank.

Does anyone have experience with this kind of problem?

Sounds like you’re feeding too much. Try feeding some frozen foods for a while. Maybe some copepods or cyclops. See if the algae slows down.
