Anyone with discus use anything to keep your plants healthy?

I Have a discus tank with plants want to know if their is something to add to the water to ensure the plants stay healthy?

With large tanks dry ferts are cheaper.
For now you can start with liquid Flourish
( comprehensive ) , but dry will save you money.

What lights ? If you have high light you'll need CO2 also.

For Swords or Crypts I also use root tabs. You can make your own.
 
Hey thank you for replying. Sorry but I'm very new to the concept of feeding plants is dry ferts like soil I put in my substrate? I have a light I bought that is specifically for plant growth I forget how many k it produces but it was the highest rated plant light I could find at my lfs. thanks for the help I really appreciate it here's a pic of the plants I have.
 
My tank-55 gallons
My plants-anubia, wisteria, amazon sword ( I think) , and the mystery plant I got (the ones around the center piece of drift wood
