My LFS has a special on Aponogeton madascariensis for $2.99. I've been reading up on it and it seems to be a difficult plant to keep alive.
I only have a 25 w neon over my 29-gallon. Would this be enough light for it?
My tank does not seem to grow algae, and I would probably want to plant it in the area under the outflow from my AC 50, which would give it stronger current.
The temperature is around 75.
I don't have any Co2, nor do I want to use ferts because of the shrimp.
So..given my situation, should I risk it? Or would I just be wasting my time and money?
Thanks for your input!
