Hi. New to the hobby and this particular set up.
I have an Aqua Medic DC runner 9.2 powering the filtration in my three foot sump, beneath my six foot tank with a weir. When I turn off the aqua medic and stop the water from being gravity fed back into the sump via the inlet, I'm seeing an unwanted reverse flow (backflow) coming through the pump? This causes the sump to fill, until it's within an inch or two from the top and the water level in the tank is below the outlet. Is this normal? What could be wrong and how can I fix this?
