Aquarium Advice Apprentice
Hello everyone,
I'm trying to aquascape a 55 gallon cube which is a Juwel Lido 200 with the intention of either having an Asian biotope or perhaps a South American biotope (any recommendations on either biotope or any species suggestions?).
The tank is 71cm/28 inches wide, 65cm/25.6 inches tall and 51cm/20 inches deep, so the tank is quite tall. I'm having trouble trying to make sure I decorate the tank properly so I don't just have lots of blank space towards the top, so I was looking at placing wood vertically.
I saw this aquascape online which is basically what I'm trying to do, and I would love it to look like this although I realise that may be difficult; https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/564x/aa/ce/8d/aace8d9f4773a1f53d7551fee69d34e2.jpg
I've tried looking for wood like this but I'm struggling to find anything that looks this nice and can stand like that. Could anyone suggest any specific types of wood, if there is any particular method to make it stand up or any recommended UK retailers?
I could also use some tips in aquascaping in general if anyone has any, I just really want it to look nice but I'm struggling.
Sorry for so many questions, and thank you in advance
