attatching mushrooms

I have a red mushroom colony and a green musshroom colony that have dropped a few of the mushrooms. Can I just take them out of the tank, apply gel super glue and stick them to a rock? Will they hold under water, and will the glue be toxic to the tank? Or wouold it be best to take shroom and rock out of the water to attatch them? Thanks, Lando

Take the shrooms and rock out of the water, attach the shrooms as best you can with the super glue gel. Once you have them glued, place a fine mesh like bridal veil type stuff over the shrooms and secure around them to help hold them down until they attach. Without the mesh the super glue might not work alone. The super glue is harmless but you can try to attach them with just the mesh if you want. HTH
