Baby fish help

I have 2 baby fish I'm trying to keep alive. I started with three. I've been keeping them in a Tupperware outside my tank with a bubbler inside. Today one more of them looked unhealthy so I decided to take a tube, hook it up to the filter, and put it in the Tupperware, with the Tupperware in the tank. Will the fish be able to stay alive this way or do they need more air? There's about a half an inch of air still above half the Tupperware right now. Thanks!
