I'm new to the fish tank hobby. I have had 4 diamond tetras for about 2 months, and now I have 4 baby fish swimming around in the back of the tank. Will the adults really eat the babies? If they don't, do I need to be concerned about the population in my tank getting out of control?

How big is your tank? I would recommend taking the babies out and putting them in a net breeder until they are about an inch long.

26 gallons. I have 5 other fish and plants. I wonder how often (and how much) fish reproduce. A few babies are okay. Too many could get too crowded.
