So i wanted to decorate my 5 gallon fluval chi tank that currently houses my betta. I was wondering what kind of plants i should get and what their benefits are for the tank. I already know that marimo moss balls are good but thats pretty much it. Please help.

Get some Java fern or anubias [emoji106] the betta will love swimming around and under it [emoji16]

I agree with above, if you have a PetCo in your area check out their Root Trees for $10 which usually come with a decent amount of java fern on it.

In a 5g Chi I would get a root tree, two Marimo moss balls, and maybe a stem or two of Hornwort to float.
