Best food

Just wondering what is the best base diet for cichlids. I mean by brand.
Right now I am using haikari staple

I use New Life Spectrum exclusivly for all fish. Cichlid to my Malawi's, Jumbo to my Oscars, Wafers for my plecs/loaches, and All Purpose to my tropicals. Ive never experienced better color and health since switching to this line up of foods.

yes i was debating between that and omega 1

I used Omega One for years prior to New Life with good results but better with New Life. For my larger south/central americans I used Hikari's Cichlid Gold and Bio-Gold prior to New Life and was pleased but the fish were much more frenzied at feeding time with New Life over the rest.
