Betta and female apistogramma

I have in my tank a female apistogramma and a few other community fish. I had another male apistogramma but that has recently died. I was thinking about getting a male betta but was wondering if the female apotogramma would be compatinle.

Pretty sure that will end badly. Male betta are a solitary fish for the most part and female apistos will not back down from a fight.
