Betta buddy

I am getting a 10 gallon tank and thinking of getting a betta. But what else can go in there with him in such a small tank?

An exception to the rule.

Gourami is a close relative to the betta, close enough that they are likely to fight just as if you placed two gouramis or two bettas in the same tank.

Lots of plants, nice wood, sand.

I've been lucky enough to successfully house betta and gourami in multiple tanks. Peaceful tanks FTW. Hate keeping bettas in tiny tanks. Love watching the one I have in my 45 tall flow around the tank.
