Some of the fish would be lunch for him, plus the tank is too small. They get pretty big. The neons for sure wouldn't last.

A ghost knife will get big, up to 22 inches, but it takes time. They do most of their growing their first year and then slow down to around an inch or so a year. In one year though, they could get to 5" or I've heard up to 8".

You could hold a ghost knife in a 20 gallon for a few years before needing to move it. Still, most of your fish would be too small and a friendly ghost knife at 4" might be deadly to the tankmates at 6".

He would be too big for that tank within 14 months, with good water conditions and food (which would include many of those smaller tankmates within about 6-8 months).
