6~When is the last time you did a water change and vacuum the gravel? How often do you do this? How much water do you remove at a time?
Saturday evening, 6 gallons.
Water change every two weeks or so.
7~How long have you had the fish? If the fish is new, how did you acclimate it/them?
Most of the fish are quite old and have previously lived in a 10 gallon tank with oversized filteration system.
8~Have you added anything new to the tank--decor, new dechlorinator, new substrate, etc.?
Only "new" items added to the tank were plants: Corkscrew Vail, Onion Plant, and Octopus Plant.
Other details: tank includes Mondo Grass, and substrate is Florida Fine Gravel. Double light fixtures with Antinic Blue Blub and White Day light bulb, both on independant timers with overlap simulating day/night. Penn Plax autofeeder.
