Black Skirt and White Skirt Tetras?

Just wondering if you all think a black skirt Tetra and a white skirt tetras will shoal together? Right now I have 3 White Skirts and I would like to add more (I lost 1 recently) but would like to add some color to my tank since I have pool filter sand and the white skirts tend to blend in. Would getting a couple black skirts work or should I stick with getting white?

I don't think they will shoal together, I had the same idea and everyone said they wouldn't. Also at the pet stores when they are in tanks together I noticed they dont
