Brackish Plant Substrate.

I am starting a brackish tank, and I'm curious about planting. I was going to go with Java Fern and Anubias, but my question is about the substrate. I was going to go with Aragonite sand, and since I'm new to planting, I'm not sure what else I would need. Can I just plant the plants in the sand, or do I need something else? Thanks.

Aragonite is not normaly recomended for plants.. do you need to buffer the water or something?

Neither anubias or java need to be buried into the substrate. Keep their rhizome above the substrate.
