Hey everyone.

Ok so i have this live rock in the back of my tank, It has no coral on it. Just a brain looking peice of live rock.
And its got this white fluff on it, Kinda looks like a really fine white string.

Ive got a pic, Not the best picture, But its hard to zoom into the tank.
If anyone could tell me what it is, That'd be great.

Thanks.

It could be some die-off from whatever living critter was on there or a sponge.
What is that red thing on the back of that same rock?

Thats a mushroom.

I have multiple mushrooms all over the tank.
Nah its not that, As its been there for a while now and it kinda looks like its been growing.
Should i poke it with something?

Lol, I do, But i'd really like to know what it is before i harm it, if its a good thing.

All i know, Is that it may be growing slowly. And if i should poke it? :p
