recently got brown ghost knife fish about 2 weeks ago. i know they are reclusive and timid, but i haven't seen it eat. do they eat off of bottom at night? just feeding reg. flake food, do i need to try something else?

Chances are that your Brown Ghost won't pay any attention to flake food. Go out and get some frozen beef heart and give that a try. Just break off appropriately-sized pieces and drop them in. Your angels will chow down on the stuff too!! Oh...don't feed this every day. Once your Brown Ghost has 'come out of its shell'...you can start varying the diet. Try some brine shrimp (live or frozen) or some bloodworms (live or frozen). Your fish will love you for it!!
