Could you id this rock for me please.

Hi, from colour and pitting, I’d say some sort of carbonate rock. Limestone or so.

If you have pool acid you could put some on and see if fizzes. Vinegar might also work depending on magnesium content (some ground up particles would give more surface area for the vinegar to react not).

Check lace rock, but it could also be some SW. I never can see the pics as well as I'd like.
