I have a 26 gallon tank that I currently have 2 backflow filters on. I'm looking to put a canister filter on the tank instead. I was wondering people's thoughts on good/not so good brands. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!!

Most people go with fluval when it comes to cans. The new 06 models will be more expensive than the 05 models. There isn't too much difference between them except price. I bought both of my fluval 405's on amazon for much cheaper than at the store. For a tank your size I'd go with a 205. It's up to 40g, but the 305 is only $10 more so you could get a 305 on amazon for $97.
I love both of mine and have had no problems.

If you wanted a cheaper route there are cans on eBay, the names escape me but I've heard some good things about them.

Thank you everyone! I'll definitely look into those suggestions!

Whisks are great and super easy to prime when needed. Also basically silent but that the same with every canister basically
