Had my live rock on Sunday, By Tuesday a hole developed and various small bits of sponge/coral that had grown started to be broken off and thrown out of this hole / small cave.

Yesterday more came off, the hole is now an inch big. Then I noticed this caterpillar type thing in a tiny hole within. It was coming out every now and then and taking HUGE chunks out of the rock around its hole.

By this morning, it had retreated, and covered its hole with a tiny stone.

It was white, and all I can say was it looked like a caterpillar. Had lots of legs and a big jaw!

Anyone got any ideas here? Will it eat my LR to death ??

Thanks!

Use a net or trap, and a flashlight covered in red wrapping at night to catch him. Good luck (y)
