Catfish never come out .

I have an two supside down cat fish and they never come out of this little house I have . I was wondering would could I do. I mean I have this big tank that they can swim around in but they send all there time in a small little orderment. Would't that stink for them.

They're social fish, so add 3 (or more) to the group and they'll be more active/visible.

I had a group and they still never came out. IME, upside-down cats are just hiders sometimes.

They like dark they come out at night get a red night light or led lit ornaments and you'll see em

They're out. Just at 2 in the morning during the middle of lights off time. I didn't see mine after the first 2 weeks for about 4 months. Thought he was dead, until I transferred tanks and discovered his hideout.
