chiclids and shrimp

Am setting up my first tank, looking to get a few chiclids. I know they are aggressive but wanted to know if any species of shrimp are ok with them in the tank or if they will just eat them?

Not really. All most all shrimp will be eating. Could try amanos

Africans will destroy shrimp. I have even tried very large crayfish and they also became food for the cichlids.
